Making a difference in the world doesn’t have to be hard, and it can reap some amazing rewards for others and yourself. I invite you to join our 30 Day Impact Challenge and post daily to the group for 30 days what you have done to make a difference, the impact it made on someone’s life and how it felt for you to be an Impact Leader.

Here are 30 ideas to help you out along your Impact Challenge journey!

  1. Send a card, letter or email saying thank you or letting someone know that you care about them.
  2. Ask an elderly neighbor if they need help getting their groceries.
  3. Give kudos publicly to someone you work with, or someone you know.
  4. Donate clothes/food/toys/$ to an online foundation like the Ronald McDonald House.
  5. Help a friend with strategies for achieving a big goal.
  6. Take a walk around your neighborhood and pick up any trash that’s on the ground. (I suggest wearing gloves and bringing a grocery store bag.)
  7. Bake cookies or dinner for a neighbor just because.
  8. Drop a plant or flowers off at someone’s house along with a note, just to brighten their day.
  9. Ask a co-worker, friend or spouse, if you can help them with a task today.
  10. Buy a book for a friend who loves to read.
  11. Choose 1 person to mentor for 3 months.
  12. Buy a gift card for someone. (Starbucks, Grocery Store, Gasoline, etc…)
  13. Call a family member or friend whom you haven’t spoken with for a while just to say thank you for being you.
  14. Gift someone an online learning program.
  15. Support a local business by buying from them.
  16. Sell your old, used electronics on eBay For Charity , and donate the proceeds to a charity of your choice.
  17. Donate books to a charity like Books Through Bars or Books For Soldiers.
  18. Donate Box Tops to help out a local school. Every time you donate the top of a box, like the cut out the top of a kleenex box, part of the proceeds go toward helping out a local school of your choice.
  19. Use your skills for good. If you make cards, make a bunch and give them away. If you cook, feed a family. As a professional keynote speaker, I donate my services to specific charities every year.
  20. Save up your change and when it gets to a certain amount or fills up a jar, donate it to a person or a cause.
  21. Spend quality time with a loved one or friend. (THEIR version of quality time, not yours). For a child, dedicate a couple of hours to have the tea party of a lifetime! For a parent, spend time helping them with something.
  22. Visit a local senior home and spend time with one of the residents.
  23. Perform a random act of kindness. (put someone’s cart back for them at the grocery store, etc.)
  24. Secretly send someone a small gift just to say thank you for being you.
  25. Volunteer at your local community kitchen.
  26. Empower someone who needs the encouragement to go after their dreams.
  27. Leave a thank you note for your mail carrier or the FEDx/Amazon/UPS delivery people.
  28. Make someone laugh. (Post a funny meme online or tell someone a joke)
  29. Post or send someone a positive quote.
  30. Write a letter to one of America’s veterans or soldiers who are serving overseas.

Don’t forget to join our 30 Day Impact Challenge and post daily to the group for 30 days what you have done to make a difference!

I look forward to seeing your posts!
